C2, late 1964 interior

I own a 1964 coupe that is within the last 1700 Corvettes made for that model year. The VIN is 40837S120567. Is there any record of Chevrolet installing 1965 seats in the last month of 1964 model production?

Don't believe so, but anything may be possible. My 1964 Coupe
#120950 has correct seats for 1964 and is a later build date
than your car.

Mike: Thanks for the response. Most likely my seat were changed by a previous owner seeking more comfort.

Hey Matt -- if you have the seats out of the car, check the seat bottom for metal tags (wound around the zig-zag springs; one has the part #, and the other the production date of the seat. That will back up Mike's comment.

The next to last car had 65 innerfenders and some other interesting things, but had correct seats.
