Does anyone know when during the 63 model year they made the swith from Borg Warner to Muncie? Approximatly what build number?

The change from T10s to Muncies occurred in early May, 1963.

Call it 15000, + or - 250 - yours is a Muncie.

Just for the record, the first shippment of Muncies (20 units) went to the Baltimore plant (passenger car) on April 9th. I don't have records of other shippments, but have documented a legit St. Louis Impala built the 3rd week of May with a Muncie.

My car is number 15138 it's pretty close either way.

My car #15675 built I4 came with a Muncie. I have owned it since new. I also owned 15588 same build date that also had the Muncie. The first car is a Z06 and the second a 340HP.
