It's been reported that Dave Hill was quoted in Autoweek, I believe, that the C6 will be shown at the 2004 Detroit Auto Show and about three months ago Corvette Marketing Manager Rick Baldick (I might have butchered his name) publically stated that the C6 will be "available" - probably meaning for retail delivery - in the late Spring, 2005. It's also been pretty well established from comments by GM execs that it will be billed as a 2005. Thus, the last C5 will be a 2004 model, and it's leaked that there will be a couple of "commenorative" packages, RPO Z-15 for the coupe and convert. and RPO Z-16 for the Z06.
Also, the C6 rollout will be phased, first the coupe and maybe the convert. simulataneously, but the Z06 won't make it in the '05 model year, but should return for '06.
