1979 L-82 EGR Numbers??

I am refurbishing a #14007378 aluminum intake for a 1979 L-82. I have purchased new TVS switches and ordered the AC Delco service replacement EGR: #17113407. The latter arrived yesterday. Please see pic below. The number on the box is correct but I am perplexed about the numbers on the unit itself. They are 17056494 352 11P. Have I received the wrong part?

Paul, I went through the same deal when I redid my '80's EGR last year. I believe the number on the unit is a "superceded" or "new" number. The new EGR's number makes no sense as it does not reflect the part # on the box.

It does get confusing. I got the service number from Joe L. But I am sure the EGR is fully functional so I will stay with it. But keep the box. Sometimes I do not understand GM....
