While removing the dash cluster from my 65, the wiper/washer switch exploded into pieces. I recovered (2) springs and (2) slider brass contact pieces. After cleaning and attempting to reassymble-I think I'm a piece short. It looks like it might be ball bearing of some sort between the 2nd brass contact and back plate. Any ideas of where to find a diagram? Anyone w/ luck rebuiding this piece. Or should I go ahead and take care of the better part of another c -note and order a new one? Thanks in advance

Re: C2 Windshield Wiper/Washer Switch
Richard - Bummer on the wiper switch. FYI, if all else fails, Long Island lists NOS wiper switches for a relatvely reasonable price. All depends on how much your frustration is worth or how much eliminating it is worth. Pete- Top

Re: C2 Windshield Wiper/Washer Switch
You might also try a vendor...
Jay Maxwell (MD) 301-948-9482 purports to rebuild these switches, as does Corvette Specialties of Maryland 800-638-6450, and others, I'm sure. Perhaps they can sell you the piece(s) you need.
Parts vendors like Corvette Central and Long Island Corvette, among others, sell the switch in the $50 - $60 range.- Top
