Wheel Date stamping, or the lack thereof....

I have come across a pair of silver painted Rally wheels, with the "GM" and "KH" stamp on the spider, with "AG" stamped near the valve stem. However, there are NO date stamps anywhere on the wheel. Are these service replacement wheels, repro's, or were there 'Vettes or other GM cars that didn't have dates stamped on the wheels?

I have had the date appear after bead blasting. If you haven't removed the paint it may be their but a light stamp.

My understanding is that date codes were not stamped next to the valve stem until calendar year 1968. So AG wheels made in '67 will not have a date there. You should see a date stamp next to the 15x7 JJ on the inside of the rim. This date stamp is for that part of the rim assymbly not the completed rim.
