'72 A/C under dash brace rods

    '72 A/C under dash brace rods

    I was just flipping through the AIM and on page M323 I see an illustration of braces that are behind the dash for an A/C car. My car does not have the braces, nor does it have the plate assembly that the brace can be mounted to. Any ideas anybody?

      and yes, my car does have A/C.

          You don't specify what body style your car is but those braces are found only on convertibles.
