1961 Soft top attaching bolt type

Could someone please tell me what bolt head was used to attach the soft top frame to the vehicle? I have looked all through the 1961-62 TI&JG and can not seem to locate any reference to this. A picture would also be nice if available. Also could someone send me a picture of where the soft top straps are located? Thanks so much.

Rather than describe the Soft Top Frame to Bracket Bolts, You can order them from Corvette Central P/N 54118,(est. $6.00) also the Bracket to Bulkhead bolts are available.

They are carriage bolts all that I have seen.

Roy is correct in that all bolts are of the carriage bolt style and are available from you local Home Depot. I do not believe that the originals had any head marking. The exception would be the bolt that attaches the upper-outer bracket to the body on each side, and I think that a TR head mark is the correct bolt. In any event, this is the configuration that I used on my 60 and it did not draw any comments from the judges.

The originals that I've scavenged over the years from 61s and 62s are carriage head bolts that have a little "twist" to the head so that it isn't a perfect domed shape. All have had an R B W marking on them, except for a few with no head marking at all.
