C1- Capacitors

Can the capacitors mounted on the Generator, Regular, and Coil be all the same? I note that the GM P/N's are different and Originals are hard to locate.

They are all different because of the wire coming out plus the part number. Any early year CHEVY. is the same as Corvette year to year for C1's mostly .

You can check the AIM under the radio section and they list the part nos--which are also stamped on the end of the cans. We also have those listed in the judging manual.

They go for around $30 each all the time on EBay. I got one that came with a generator attached for $10 there.
