The Best of the Corvette Restorer Book?

Can anyone tell me what "The Best of the Corvette Restorer - Vol 1-5, 1953-1967 book is? Did NCRS publish this book? If so, when? What information does it contain? Does it have Volumes 1 through 5 in it? Are these the complete volumes? Any and all info appreciated.

Hello Ed; I believe that you are referring to "The Best Of Volume One", a booklet/magazine published by NCRS. Seems to me that they were available from NCRS until a few years ago. This magazine is not a complete reprint of every page of Vol. 1, No.'s 1 through 4. It contains significant articles from all 4 of those issues, as well as photo's, survey's, etc. An issue should be fairly easy to locate. Chuck Gongloff

This is definitely NOT the Best of Volume One. I have that booklet. This is a 236 page book, with a history of NCRS in the front. Any ideas what it is?

Ed, "The Best of the Corvette Restorer" Vol 1 - Vol 5 appears to be published by Michael Bruce Associates, Inc. It contains selected NCRS articles from each of the first five volumes of the "Corvette Restorer". Example, 12 articles from volume 1 are listed.

I have the book you mention (found it on Ebay about a month ago) - it was published by Michael Bruce Associates, P.O. Box 396, Powell, Ohio 43065, copyrighted 1980, ISBN #0933534-12-4. Has 230 pages of selected articles from Vol. 1-5 of the Restorer, a history of NCRS in the front, and coupons in the back to send in for NCRS information when the HQ was in Lincoln, Nebraska.
