I am wanting to know what head type bolts are used to secure the licence frame bumper to the car? I do know the lower two are carriage bolts, but unsure as to the other 4. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Craig,
The TIM&JG(5ht Ed.) says "middle license plate frame bolts (mounted horizontally) are either chrome or cadmium plated hex head bolts and lock washers (1962s after approximate serial number range 5,000 to 8,000 used cadmium plated "WB" hex-head bolts and lock washers at this location); lower side portion by two stainless carriage bolts." Hope this helps. . .

They are 7/16-14 hex bolts (1-1/8th long)marked with "WB" as stated. A lockwasher is used. If you are only repacing the bolts, line-up should be no problem. If you have reinstalled the reinf. bumper body brace, use a punch from the under body side to help line-up the hole. I have also used a "pointed" 7/16 bolt on one side to help with the line-up and removed it as the last bolt was screwed in place.
