I am looking for the three cardboard tubes that are used with the parking brake and headlight indicator lights in the instrument cluster for me '63. I have tried the 'standard' corvette stores (ZIP, LI, ...) but to mo avail.
Can someone recommend a source? Is there something else that I could use?
This may sound kind of mickey mouse but it worked, one of my tubes were missing and I didn't know what to use but I finally found an aluminum tube at the hardware store the same diameter and I just cut a small piece to fit.
Call Thad at C.A.R.S. in Nevada (775) 753-7783, he advertised in the last NCRS Driveline. I just bought a bare gage cluster housing from him for my 1965. He has just taken the housing apart and probably has the tubes you need. Nice guy and has some other part I have been looking for.
