I want to thank all those who responded to my 67 TI starting problem I posted yesterday. I have not had a chance to try any of the suggestions and probably won't for a couple weeks now due to many things. Namely, here in PA it is cold, snowing daily, and my car is stuck inside my enclosed trailer which I can't move. However, I will post the results when I do get to work on it. I hate winter!!

Gary, The problem I had on my 71 LT-1 I thought was TI. I even bought the new solid state module in the amplifier. Sometime the car would start and sometimes not. It ended up the main red power wire plug at the fuse box was shorting out. This is a common problem with the older Vettes. Seems water leaks down onto that area through the years and rots out the wires.
