    C1 Roman Red

Does anyone out there have the numbers for Roman Red. I need to paint the wheels on my 61. Thanks in advance for the help.

The Du Pont code is (or was as of 3-97) 2931 LH 1. They called it 1959 Tampico Red. Good luck finding it as lacquer is getting hard to get. Don H.

      Don,
Thanks for the information. Fortunately the exterior of the car is all done. I need a quart of emamel for the wheels.

Dave, the guy at my local PPG dealer shows, Ahem....Ford Rangoon Red, as being an exact match. You can still get that color in bulk or rattle cans at a parts store. Just don't tell anybody what color it is! MF

dupont can mix it in the correct 2931 formula in what ever type of paint you need.
