Sequence number stamp on chassis

I am trying to locate the sequence stamp on the chassis of my 1973 roadster. Can an expert tell me where to look and whether it is possible to glimpse this without separating the chassis from the body shell? Your advice will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I have a restored frame on a 73 and you can see it. Remove the left rear wheel drivers side. The number on mine starts at the vapor line bolt at #4 body mount and goes to the rear behind the mount on the top of the frame. You will need a small mirror and a brite light. Rust will need to be removed if present. Your stamp may not be in the same spot and may be forward of this location but in this wheel well area on the top of the frame.
