Just got the radiator out of my early 74', don't think it is correct. Tag on radiator is embosed with MC4 and stamped 3030199. It seems to wide by about a 1/2 inch to fit the bottom cushions. Thanks for the help, those who posted my original problem, any help with identification woud be apreciated. Thanks again, corky.

GM #3030199 is the part number for the radiator for a 1974 Corvette with air conditioning. For 74s without A/C, the part number should be 3030132. If you car has A/C, you have the correct radiator. It's as simple as that.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -

Corky. Just wanted to add a piece of info to Joe's answer on your radiator. My '74 which I bought new has a tag with MD4. Its serial number is 10989. Its kind of early since I ordered it in August 73 and was delivered in early December 1973. Yours must be earlier than mine. As Joe said, it appears you have the correct one for an AC '74. If you need something checked let me know. Mine earned a 4 star bowtie in Seven Springs. Is very original and only has 44,000 miles. The original spark plug wires still work great!!!Comment

It sounds like you may have the wrong radiator SUPPORT if what you say about the 1/2" difference on A/C and non-A/C equipped cars is correct.
