I have some rear inside tire wear, how do I tell if this is a wheel bearing or a leaf spring problem.

Re: 72 vette
I'd think strut rod bushings first, causing a rear end alignment problem with tops of the tires tipped inward like an old VW.

A thorough inspection of rear bushings, differential and ride height should reveal the source of your problems. I would suggest that unless you have above average skill, knowledge and equipment this is best left to a professional familiar with the Corvette independent rear suspension.
Patrick is right that the most likely source is worn strut rod bushings, movement of the strut rod adjusting mechanism and then differential side yoke wear are the next most likely. It would be a mistake to throw parts (and money) at it without competent diagnosis, however.

Re: 72 vette
Terry,
You're right about the other two items as well. It just seems like "every" Corvette out there has worn out strut rod bushings.
Just as long as he doesn't "Bubba fix" it by bending the strut rods to compensate...

David:
I had this same problem on my 68. It was, as previously stated, strut rod bushings. I would suggest to have them replaced by a pro who knows what he is doing and have both the front and rear alligned. You will be amazed in the difference in the handling of your car. I sure was with mine.

Re: 72 vette
I usually replace them at home with my bench vise. At worst you can bring them somewhere once they're off to have the old bushings pressed out and the new ones pressed in if you wish.
The alignment can then be eyeballed quite closely so that you can drive it to the shop for a full alignment. Of course, check the rest of the suspension first for wear. There's no point having it aligned if other parts need to be replaced.
