C2 center console

Does anyone repro the center console for the 64-67. I have one that is splitting along the chrome strip that goes around the outer part of the console. The other one has a few places on the side that are eaten up with corrosion. Thanks

As far as I know, the 64-67 consoles are not currently reproduced. For better or for worse, Crane's Corvette of San Diego reproduces the 63 console, but not the later ones. Crane's restores the later consoles and may have some available for outright sale. It won't be inexpensive, though.

I've seen NOS 67 consoles sell on eBay for well over $1,000. You don't see them come up very often, though.

Contact Advanced Plating in Nashville Tn. I have refered numerous people to have their console "rebuilt/replated" with fabulous success. They are pot metal specialists and do superb work.

Last one done was a 66 that had "corrosion" on the spear edges (missing sections). They repaired and plated the console. Look NEW! Turnaround time about 3-4 weeks.

Cost was about $450.00. High? Thats cheaper than a Grand for NOS!!!

I was able to purchase a very nice one on eBay for $250.
