C2 bumper question

I need to find a set of bumpers for my 65 since it didnt come with any. Corvette central sells a set for 1300. Are these any good in terms of fit, appearance and chrome? If not, what is the best source for a set?

I have not had any experience with their bumpers but for that much money I would want to see them before purchasing (like at a show) as the shipping will be substancial. Don H.

Some of the parts houses bumpers are lighter and thinner than the originals. If you are trying to stay correct, I suggest you find a solid used set and have them re-chromed, It would be more expensive, but probably not that much. Figure about $250.00 per bumper to re-chrome. Check ebay.
