C2-ROCKER MOLDINGS

I AM finishing restoration of 1963 coupe: The original rocker moldings and the body measure 66" I had purchased a new set and put the passanger side on and it was 1/2" short? Called supplier and they told me to measure the body and the original rockers from longest points. car is a no hit all original body panels.
the supplier measured a set they had in stock also measured 65 1/2" please advise if someone can restore the origianls or is their a supplier for nos?

Amazing isnt it, that anyone would go to the great expense to tool up to repro a part and then do it wrong.

I'm amazed any more when they do it RIGHT.

On a similar note, the reproduction 70-77 rocker panels are made WITHOUT the original mounting tabs. Instead, they are like the later GM replacements. Not one of the 3 (yes, three) companies that has tooled these up has made them correctly.
