I do not have any of the old hoses so, I can not compare. I do know that there are two sizes used.
Could someone tell me the length of the hoses and the diameters used? I need it for all of the heater hoses. I already have the two large radiator hoses.
Hoses are 5/8inch and 3/4inch. Don't have the exact length but your Local parts realer should have it. I would just use a tape measure to approximate the length. Add a few inches for good measure and cut to lenth as you are putting them on.
Are you going to buy the new hoses from a Corvette parts vendor or from your local auto parts store? Why I ask is because if you buy from a Corvette parts vendor, they will supply enough to plumb the system. You might have to cut off a small amount if it appears too long. If you are buying it from a local parts store, 4 feet of 5/8" dia and 4 feet of 3/4" dia will be more than enought to get the job done. If you have a question about how it is to be routed, take a look at some of the better restoration books that show C2 engine compartments. Hope this helps.
