1968 Casting Numbers 327"

What are the valid Casting Numbers for a 1968 Corvette
with a 327" engine?

Do Casting Numbers have any relationship with Engine Codes?
For example Casting Number 33XXXXXXX can have Engine code HT but not NE.

My Vette is a 68 but it was built in October of 1967.
What are the casting Numbers that would apply to my Vette?

All 1968 Corvette 327s were casting number 3914678 with the exception of possibly some early cars having 3914660.

All small block 68s have the same engine casting number, 3914678. This is cast into the top drivers side of the block in large numbers. The engine code numbers, HE,HO,HP and HT, represent the horsepower, carb. and tranny combo is stamped into the pad at the front pass. side of the block along with the assembly date and vin #.
