427 motor,cam

I'm rebuilding a 427-390 hp vette engine.Can I still get a stock cam for this engine from GM? It will have hydraulic lifters. Thanks in advance. dean

No, the cam you're after is discontinued. I'm away on a trip, so I can't tell you exactly when it was discontinued, but it's been a long while. It's available in reproduction from Crane and others. It was used for all L-36, L-68, and many other 66-69 396/427 hydraulic lifter engines with 350 hp, 360 hp, and 390 hp.

Yes, that part number is the Crane-manufactured cam and lifter kit that is sold under a GM part number.
