For those that are curious, if you remember I posted a problem with some new door courtesy switches I purchased from LI Corvette.
The problem was that the new switches appeared to be bigger than the hole in the door pillars. Well, I found the original switches. The originals are 5/16" x 18 and the new ones from LIC are 3/8" x 24.
The package from LIC stated that they were for 63 through 67. Now, I can not prove it but, I really think that the originals that I took out of the car five years ago are 'originals' for the '63. So, either the new ones are for later years (64-67?) or, they are replacements for all model years but, you need to enlarge the holes in the pillars to use them.
Anyone have an opinion or information on this?
Also, Tim, thanks again for the pictures on this issue.
