    Wiring plug-ins behind glove box?

Today I took out my glove box to service/replace the AC vacuum switch (in the process found the source of that funky smell - a mouse nest made out of firewal insualtion, all mounded on top of the heater box. Maybe it's a good thing the heater wasn't heatin'!). Anyway, I found two dead-end plug-ins that are part of the wiring harness. The first is a 3-wire plug w/light blue, yellow and orange wires (the courtesy and gb light wires are wrapped in the same bundle). The second is a wider config 3-wire plug-in with two orange, one yellow and one light blue wire.

What are these for? Are these "empty" plugs in the harness because of the a/c option? Everything seems to be working...

The AIM says cut off prod. heater sw. conn. and tape leads to harness. Also cut off heater res. conn. and tape to harness.

        And Yes

They are the plugs for the heater switch and the resistor.
