I have a 66 coupe apun excelleration has a vibration in the front to middle of the car. I have replaced the tires and had it aligned with no results. It feels as if it is a broken trans mount( It's Fine) or an unbalanced driveshaft. Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas what it could be?
Thank you
Joe

I had a similar problem on my 69 many rears ago except that the vibration only occured over 3500 RPM. The culprit turned out to be a bad fan clutch. At that time I replaced the original fan clutch (which I saved and had restored a couple of years ago)and fan with new GM units. The problem was solved. Many years later I had the original rebuilt and restored and re-installed the original fan and everything works beautifully.
Hope this helps.
