    Correct paint

I need to know if the black GM restoration paint would be the correst paint to use for a midyear engine compartment cleanup/detail. Is it ok for the alternator bracket, sparkplug wire brackets, radiator fan and pulley and air cleaner/vent tube? I understand that the voltage regulator would require a gloss black and that the GM restoration black appears to be a semi-gloss black which is what the guide calls for. Thank YOU!

Krylon semi-flat black is considered very close. Don H.

I am not an expert but I know people with top flight restorations that used the Krylon. I am not familiar with the GM paint. Don H.
