underbody color?

Is the fiber glass on the undersde of the car be painted black?? It is on my car and I want to know if that is correct or not?? Thanks Mike Arteaga #34566

Mike... Lose the black paint... Wheel wells, yeah. Some further overspray, yeah. Beyond that, GM would not spend the $ on rust proofing something that is not going to rust.

Mike,
You didn't say what year car you were talking about, but on C1 cars the black out procedure was limited to the areas that could be seen from outside the car.
The wheelwells, the sides of the spare tire well and sides of the gas tank well and the firewall all the way to the floor pan were about the only areas that got black out.
