    C1 & C2 Temperature Sending Unit

Does anyone know how to test these brass sending units in the intake manifold to see if they are working?

Using a digital ohmmmeter, check the resistance between the center post and the side or the intake (ground). At room temperature you should get a reading of approximately 700 ohms. If you don't have a digital meter, you can use an analog meter but you need to adjust the zero very carefully. If it is a bit off, test with a digital meter before discarding. If it is way off, then the sender is probably bad.
