C1 Exhaust System Clearances

Anyone else have any fit issues with CC aluminized system? It was my understanding that these fit pretty well. I have 1/8" or less clearance to shocks and wondering if I should keep looking for a culprit or get out the chop chop saw... I can't figure out a better way to adjust the whole works forward to get some shock clearance. Any advice appreciated.

I never got a system that just bolted in, always ended up at a muffler shop to correct and fit, so I now just have them do it from the start.

Roy is pretty close on this issue. The CC system is pretty close. Just have to deal deal with it. Good Luck. Dennis

I have just put one of these sytems on. They fit very well I thought. I did have to do two things however. I cut about 1/2 inch from pipe leading into mufflers and changed the bend on the rear tail pipes as not to come to close to the inner 1/4 panels and trunk floor, this was done with heat. By cutting the pipe it let the rear part of the system slide forward away from the shocks. All this was hidden on my car becouse of black out. The org pipe was plan steel with black out. If you decide to black it out I think it will work fine.

NOTE THAT ALL CUTTING AND HEATING WAS DONE OFF OF CAR!
