Frt. Spring Tags & Engine Code Sticker - 1973

Looking for help in finding the correct spring tags for my 1973. I need tags with the alpha designator of MA w/ the part number- 331316. Also trying to find an engine code sticker (one piece) with an alpha code of CLR. I've checked w/ every repro. company I've come across for the last couple of years with no luck. It's an L-82 no A/C car. If you have any ideas, please drop me a line. Thanks, Tim

If you actually have seen listed the engine code sticker for a 73 454, then you've seen more than I ever have. It seems that most companies stop offering after the 1969 model year. The only time I have ever seen one of these stickers, in fact, on a car after 69 is in Dobbins' book. I would suppose the adhesive on these was not as good as on the midyear cars, as they never seem to have stayed on.

I don't think that restoration companies believe there is much interest in restoring Corvettes after 67, thus the lack of these. If only they knew how frustrated we really were...

Thanks for the response. You're right, if it's not a mid year, it doesn't exist to many companies dealing w/ Corvettes. Especially when the cars lost the frt. chrome bumper. I think Paragon and alike are missing a great sales opportunity in many cases. Tim
