    Cluster Wiring Question

On the left upper rear (Backside) of my instrument cluster housing (where the wires are) there is a capacitor with a dark blue wire that has a black plastic end with a small nail that penetrates another wire. Does this wire connect to the dk blue (they match) which is the right hand dir signal lamp wire?. If not where does it connect to? I have everything else in the correct spot from what I can tell.

    Thanks
    Keith

Per the U-69 section of the assy manual, it connects to the tan wire or black/tan depending on year, which I believe is PK brake warnng.

      Re: Cluster Wiring Question-1967

This is for a 1967. I have a pink and a tan that go to the brake light. Why would this go to the brake indicator? I can not find this in the wiring diagram?
      Thanks

It's not in the wiring diagram as it's a part of the radio package, not the standard vehicle wiring. Look at the U-69 section in your assembly manual.
