1960 Soft Top Tabs

Is there a trick to keeping the vinyl tabs from curling up? I am talking about the vinyl strips that cover the hinge slots when the soft top is stored.

I bought Corvette Central tabs and they were not even close to originals in size and did not have the correct backing. Try Al Knoch as there tabs have a thick backing on them as originals do.

I'm on my second set, and they too are beginning to curl. I tried "pressing" the first set, but that only helped temporarily. I'll be interested to see if someone has a permanent fix as well.

Judging from the few responses since posting on Tuesday, it doesn't look like there is much member information or interest on this subject.
