c2 clock bezel/headlight limit/1967e or 1967l

is the clock bezel supposed to be chrome or black on the outside edge and inside? My limit switch on headligt motor assem. doesn't fit flush when screws are tightened.Do they require a shim?please excuse my ignorance but how do you know if your car is 1967e or 1967L. the no. on glove comp. is 194677s100651 thanks

The clock bezel is black with the outer edge finished in chrome. Your car should be considered early production,the 650th in a run of 22940 for the 1967 model year. Regards,Kieran #11373
