1966 Air Conditioning Question

Is the left floor vent operational on air conditioned cars? My car had the vent hole covered with a piece of metal. I have looked all over for the door and outlet assembly, but have not been able locate one. Several parts suppliers said that they thought air cars had no left vent!!

My 67 air car has a left vent.

C-60 equipped C-2s had a drivers side fresh air vent located behind the kick panel. Its the left side(passenger) fresh air vent that differs on C60 versus non C60 C-2s.I'd guess that someone installed the piece of sheetmetal long after your 66 left St Louis.

How much do you have behind your current blockoff. Many of the parts are available thru the reproduction vendors.
