    C1 Steering Column wires

How is the best way to thread the horn & turn signal wires thru the steering column? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I did some recently and just pushed them down the tube. I used a screwdriver to guide them out at the bottom. Didn't really have a problem.

If you haven't taken the old ones out yet, tie a string onto it before pulling, then pull the new ones back in the opposite way. You could also yse a coat hanger as a "snake". Shouldn't be too tough though...

String seems to be the best way, less chance of breaking the installation.

When I did my 57 I found it wasn't too hard. The run is short. I just took a piece of stranded insulated wire and fished it through the hole. Then I stripped the wire and wrapped it around the wires coming from the turn signal and horn. I don't recall if a connector is on the end or not. I wrapped the whole thing in tape before pulling through. That way the strain on the wires is less and the insulation doesn't get scrapped. When I got them all through and in position removed the tape and plug in or whatever.
