    C2: Radiator Question

I have a 63 SWC with automatic trans that someone replace the 327 with a 350. In front of the radiator is a smaller core (somewhat chewed up, but there and still hooked up). I think this is the trans cooling core. Diagrams I have seen in various books leads me to believe it might be. Can someone confirm this for me.

    Thanks

Most likely true. Follow the lines back and see where they go. Anything is possible----maybe one of the prior owners was pulling a trailer.

The 63 corvette with an automatic trans did have a small trans cooler mounted in front and at the base of the radiator. The hoses leaving the cooler should route through a small hole in the radiator suport just under the horn relay. They go just below your fuel pump to the transmission.
