I just started the process of bringing the AC back to life in my 66 small block. I noticed the catalogs show the hose fitting for the condenser to freon hose as either over the radiator support ( early) or thru the radiator support (late). I would consider my car as late {Feb 66 ( VIN 113395)}. The current non original hose (it has a crimped fitting which is a big clue)goes over the radiator support but there are 2 holes in the support for a thru connection. The other hole is occupied by the drier connection. Any opinions as to what is correct
Also I have heard there is an aftermarket compressor guard to prevent compressor oil from slinging on the hood, I've checked all the major vendors but no luck.
And lastly a source of correct freon hoses or at least a close replacement.
