I just got a chance to examine my headlights. I have a problem with one that has caused my paint to crack. In examining them I found that one has some damamge (causing the crack) and the other was replaced with metal. The damaged one looks like the original fibreglass, but it is hard to tell while still assembled. It looks like someone added custom brackets and them used the 64-67 bezels on both. Since under the crack is metalic looking I assumed it was metal too, but once I had the bezels off I realized they were two different buckets. The damaged one with the custom bracket job has the original screw holes front facing. Does anyone know if the primer would look metalic? The skin looks bonded to the inside bracket too. I am hoping this is the case, because I can always fix the fibreglass and then I just need to replace the metal one. Since I will be doing a complete repaint though and I want to wait to remove them til then, getting all the right parts lined up would help.
