I own a 68 427/400 t-top car that has shoulder harness straps mounted behind the seats ....... though the car is not 100% documented it is traced back to the late 70's ..... since it appears that no one added this "option" .... there has been some good conversations about the car actually coming with this option from the factory .. I have been told that in no way did it come with this option .. can someone shed some light on this issue ........
I could be wrong but my understanding is that shoulder belts were an option on all cars until January 1, 68 when they became standard on coupes. Shoulder belts were an option on Convertibles all year.
