    Part Number 1998999

    I have this vacuum switch and I am not sure what it's application is. I purchased it thinking it was the one I needed for the AC system were it goes on the heater/AC ducting system between the inside firewall and the heater/Ac selector housing.

      GM #1998999 is a heater and air distributor vacuum actuator which is applicable to 1969 through 1977 Corvettes. It is a predecessor part number to GM #1996603 and GM #1996686.

              It mounts on the side of the plenum filler panel. The location is shown in UPC C60, sheet A4 of the 1969 Corvette AIM.
