This is the NCRS Michigan Chapter Meet, held jointly with the Motor City Classic, a major show put on every year by my other Club, the GMC Corvette Set, from Rochester, Michigan (all show proceeds benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind). The shows are held on the grounds of the GM Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. The NCRS Chapter Meet schedule is as follows:
Friday 5/14:
3:00-7:00 PM Registration & Place Corvettes on Show Field
7:00-10:00 PM Tune-Up Party/Judging Seminar at Courtyard by
Marriott (Warren, Michigan) Saturday 5/15:
7:30-8:00 AM Judges Meeting
8:00-8:30 AM Owners Meeting
8:30AM - 5:00 PM Flight Judging
6:30 PM Awards Banquet
Right now we have about 47 cars pre-registered for the NCRS Meet, including many Top Flight and Duntov cars. For more detailed info call Dave Tallenger, (248) 623-0331. The NCRS meet concludes Saturday night, but the Motor City Classic is a 2-day show and continues through Sunday - it draws over 100 cars for judging alone (very detailed show-n-shine, not NCRS), and 2000-3000 spectators. GM provides a neat selection of vintage Corvette show and concept cars for display, as this is where they all live!
