      The head of the rivets faces rearward for both the front and the rear loop attachments.

          Jer,
          I have been told by judges that either direction is acceptable, but the way that they are shown in the AIM with the heads facing away from the center is incorrect. I still have the originals that I cut from my 60, and both have the head of the rivets facing to the front of the car, so that is the way i installed the new ones.
