    C3 Hood Release Problem

The cable broke on my 70 model. I bought a new assembly but can't figure out where it goes after it exit the firewall, inside the engine compartment. The cable housing and bracket is off and I am not sure where it attaches. If someone could send me a photo of the hood release cable inside the engine compartment, I can put it back together. Thanks in advance for your help.

Attaches to the release lever arm on the hood catch mounted on the LH firewall. Raise the hood, take one step forward from the driver's door and look straight down in the area of the LH firewall just inboard from the inner fender crevice. You should see a 'paddle' arm extending from the side of the LH hood catch repleat with a hole to run the hood release cable through and attach the brass barrel stop to once the release cable extends through the hole.
