When the instructions say to place the valve cover label on the right hand side of the valve cover is that looking at the car or sitting in the car?

Re: 1967 valve cover label placement
Bob-----
Which valve cover label are you referring to? 1967 small blocks used no valve cover labels except for the engine broadcast code labels and, possibly, Flint engine plant label. The broadcast label was located on the rear surface of the right side (passenger side) valve cover. Some 67 L-79s MAY have had a Flint engine plant label on the front end of the valve cover (I forgot which side, though)
1967 big blocks used the broadcast labels in the same position as small blocks. Big blocks also had the Tonwanda foil label on the right side (passenger side) valve cover, towards the front on the right (passenger) side.
No other labels on 67 Corvette valve covers. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 1967 valve cover label placement
Both the 300hp (steel valve covers) and 350hp (aluminum valve covers) had the white Flint Engine sticker on the front of the passenger side valve cover, and a yellow/black engine broadcast code sticker on the rear of the same cover.
"Right" and "Left" are always as viewed from the driver's seat, facing forward.- Top
