    '68 WIPER OVERIDE LIGHT

MY '68 WIPERS HAVE ALWAYS WORKED. ONE DAY THE WIPER DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN AND THE WIPER OVERIDE LIGHT ON THE DASH LITE UP. I TRIED THE OVERIDE SWITCH AND NOTHING HAPPENS. WHEN I TURN OFF THE IGNITION AND PULL THE KEY OUT THE WIPER OVERIDE LIGHT STAYS ON. I HAVE TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY. WHATS WRONG?

What page in the owners manual is the wiper overide light mentioned for your 68?
