    67/jack & handle

    I dont't really want to invest the $150+ into the original jack and handle right now ...is there a simelar or same size set that I could maybe find at the local junk yard?

    If you don't want to spend a lot money you can get a jack from Volunteer Vette products. They have a scissor type jack that will fit in jack box compartment. Cost is about $30 bucks.

      If you want it to judge properly, you're stuck with an original or repro part as the shape/characteristics of the jack are unique to Corvette. If you simply want a road emergency tool in your driver car, heck, Wal-Mart will sell you a basic 'bottle' jack for under $10....

        I,m running with a nifty little blue scissors jack that I bought for $12 at O'Reilleys. Works fine and fits in the jack compartment.
