    1967 HEATER HOSES

I AM HAVING TROUBLE DETERMINING EXACTLY WHAT THE CORRECT HEATER HOSE CONFIGURATION SHOULD BE FOR MY 427/435 CAR. SHOULD ONE HOSE HAVE RIBS AND NO "GM" PRINTED ON IT AND THE OTHER HOSE NO RIBS W/"GM"? IS IT CORRECT TO HAVE BOTH HOSES RIBBED IF NEITHER HAV "GM" PRINTED ON THEM? GOT VARYING ANSWERS AT REGIONAL NCRS JUDGING. IF NON-RIBBED & "GM" REQUIRED, WHERE CAN ONE GET A CORRECT REPRO HOSE? ALL I CAN FIND HAVE RIBS ONLY.

    Joe -

The TM&JG calls out for the 5/8" hose to be non-ribbed, with the GM and box logo, and the 3/4" hose to be four-ribbed with no GM identification. I found non-ribbed GM-identified 5/8" hose at Paragon (their #2000, $20.00); it's listed for a different application, but it's what the TM&JG calls for, and you can cut it to the length you need.
