    C-1 Brakes

Installed new brakes, cylinders, lines and drums on '62 (From C.C.). All went well except right rear. Very hard to put drum on and won't turn (in neutral). What am I doing wrong? I didn't mess with parking brake (thought I was to do that after install). First time with brakes, maybe I'm missing something stupid!

Is the "star" adjuster turned in? Also is the parking brake cable tight? Don H.

      Don H.,
The adjuster is all the way in. RR cable not as tight as LR (but isn't loose)

I would suggest pulling the drum from both sides then compare and even take measurements (including the inside of the new drums). Also try the drums on the other side. Possibly something is out of place or wrong size. Don H.

There are primary and secondary brake shoes (one has more lining on it). Did you make a slip and get 2 secondaries on one side ?
