Who carries the best fitting, most correct gaskets? The Doc doesn't carry intake gaskets. I had mine originally ordered at Zip until I found out they were on back order.

Paragon offers a correct gasket set for your application for about $20. These gaskets include the little exposed "tab" on the side gaskets, as original. This is one of those "trendy" features that seems to be more important to some folks than other, far more significant aspects of original configuration on the cars. These gasket sets do not have the tiny, tiny "GM" embossed on the end seals.
If you aren't so picky about "tabs", then you can obtain gasket set GM #10147994 from your local GM dealer. It won't have the side "tabs", but the end seals MAY have the tiny, tiny, "GM" on them.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 72 LT-1 Intake manifold gaskets
I used the Paragon gaskets Joe mentions on my 67 and was very happy with them, they look very correct other than the GM emboss Joe mentions. They even sealed perfectly (something I usually have trouble with unless I use FelPro printoseal)....Craig- Top
